Key responsibilities:
As part of the development team, you will be responsible for mechanical development activities of the radiotherapy system.
This position is responsible for mechanical development from design concept to design transfer.
Candidate possesses a broad understanding of complex multi-disciplinary systems and design experience in the medical device industry.
As Mechanical Design Engineer you will:
Design and develop the X-ray converging lens based on solid state crystals and opto-mechanical design rules.
Plan and perform CAE simulation and analysis for design verification.
Plan and execute laboratory experiments and reliability tests of mechanical components.
Collaborate with team members from other disciplines as Physics, Motion Control, Electronics and Software.
Prepare mechanical design documentation in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements, and Design Control.
Please note: This position requires on-site work at our Haifa office.
Requirements: B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 7 years experience as R&D Mechanical Engineer in the medical device field.
Expertise in mechanical design, design for manufacturability, and GD&T.
In-depth experience in CAD tools such as Solid Works.
Team player with the ability to work on your own.
Excellent English communication skills both oral and written.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Passionate hands-on approach.
