We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure team leader to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's IT infrastructure. This role involves managing a team of IT professionals, ensuring the availability, performance, and security of systems, and supporting business operations. Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the IT infrastructure team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
* Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of hardware, software, networks, and cloud services.
* Ensure the availability, scalability, and security of IT systems and infrastructure.
* Collaborate with other departments to understand and support business needs through effective IT solutions.
* Develop and manage IT infrastructure budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
* Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to maintain high reliability.
* Ensure compliance with IT policies, industry standards, and best practices.
* Manage vendor relationships and evaluate third-party products and services.
* Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning and implementation efforts.
* Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and assess their potential value to the organization.
Requirements: Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management or a similar role in an 800+ end-users organization.
* Strong knowledge of networking, cloud services , virtualization , and server management.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365 Administration
* Expertise in RedHat Enterprise Linux, VMware, Zerto, Veeam and Active Directory management.
* Familiarity with Backup systems and Methodology (Veeam, Tape Servers)
* Familiarity with DevOps practices and ITIL frameworks is a plus.
* Proven leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Experience with budgeting and vendor management.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Security clearance preferred. Preferred Certifications
