The Head of Content will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our companys content strategy and will report to the Director of Growth.
We seek a strategic and hands-on content marketing professional to lead our companys growing content team. As a head of content you'll build all the content activities across our channels,lead all operational and creative functions of content development in these 4 main pillars:
Content production: Support all marketing efforts in our brand, growth and product marketing pillars through compelling storytelling and high-quality content deliverables.
Owned Content: Establish and maintain a robust owned content ecosystem that drives organic growth, increases brand visibility, and fosters audience engagement.
Earned Content: Build and leverage external relationships to amplify our companys traction from 3rd party blogs, and increase reach and credibility through content placements that drive growth.
SEO: Use SEO to generate organic growth by optimizing the companys digital presence and visibility by implementing best practices in Technical SEO, Onsite SEO, Offsite SEO, and AIEO strategies.
The position operates on a hybrid work model, with four days of remote work per week and one designated in-office day at our Binyamina location.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a professional content team
Provide close guidance, feedback, and editorial support to help team members grow and develop their skills.
Manage the content production process from ideation to publication, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
Identify key topics, themes, and messaging that will resonate with our audience and differentiate us in the market.
Ensure all content is well-researched, accurate, and aligned with our brand voice and messaging guidelines.
Oversee quality and accuracy of all material, from messaging angles in all communication channels including webpages, blog posts, emails, video scripts, and all other content assets.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging new technologies in content marketing.
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the main content activities.
Manage all content needs
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, experts, and external partners to gather insights and develop compelling content ideas.
Work cross-functionally with demand generation, from the marketing teams to create and execute the content roadmap and calendar
Growth through content
Identify and build 3rd party content that will lead to growth
Create Owned Content Strategy and Content Calendar
Leverage SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines and increase organic visibility. Be up-to-date with the changes in these practices.
Requirements: 5+ years of experience in content marketing
3+ years of experience in building and managing a team of at least 5+ professionals
Proven experience in building content marketing strategies that had a direct impact on the companys user growth and maximizing a full-funnel customer content journey
2 years of experience in scaling Earned Content Efforts
2 years of experience in SEO or working directly with an SEO function
Experience working in SaaS B2C or B2CMB companies - A MUST
Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling and persuasive content for various audiences and across all channels
Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and delegate effectively.
