The Clinical Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing the acquisition, handling, and management of biological samples (from clinical observational trials and both research and commercial collaborations), ensuring all procurement and collection processes comply with regulatory and ethical standards and company needs. This role involves coordinating with suppliers (hospitals/research institutes/biotech companies), regulatory bodies, and internal teams to secure the necessary biological materials for research and development.
Location: Ramat Gan, Israel
What will you do?
Understanding and defining procurement and collection needs, and forming a strategy aligned with those needs
Planning and executing sample procurement, including budget management, logistics and proper documentation, and meeting company goals for sample procurement
Ensuring regulatory compliance, developing and maintaining quality SOPs as required
Managing vendors/researchers, establishing partnerships, including contract negotiation, training, monitoring and relationship management
Managing projects and logistics coordination including risk management for the projects, shipping of samples, timelines, KPIs
Enforcing quality standards, including complying with Immunai internal standards
Providing regular updates to internal teams, on sample availability, quality, and timelines.
Building and aligning on processes with internal teams for both samples and clinical data acquisition and management
Presenting regularly to leadership team and internal stakeholders regarding status of samples acquisition for our database
Requirements: Bachelor degree in relevant Life Sciences domain - Biology, Chemistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health, or Health Sciences - a must
Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (or similar) - a must
GCP certificate - a must
At least 3 years of experience in clinical research management (observational) - a must
Deep understanding of applicable regulations and practices, such as GCP, HIPAA, GDPR, and other standards related to biological sample procurement and conducting of observational clinical studies - a must
Strong organizational and management skills to handle complex sample procurement processes and vendor relationships
Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams, vendors, and regulatory bodies
Experience in managing procurement budgets, financial tracking, and cost control
Project management certification - an advantage
Strong attention to detail and quality
Fluent English - a must
