A full-time accounting position in Bnei Brak for an international organization, requiring 40 hours per week
The finance assistant Supports the Finance office by performing routine tasks, including:
- reconciliation of invoices against purchase orders and uploading the
invoices into SAP system.
- Processing payments to local vendors.
- bank account reconciliation
- generating reports including monthly VAT reports
- handling travel claims
- managing petty cash
- performing other finance office duties
The incumbent is supervised by the Finance Manager.
- The role requires basic accounting knowledge, computer skills including Excel, Word, and ERP systems (preferably SAP), and high-level
communication skills in English and Hebrew. Candidates should have a high school diploma with specialized training in accounting and at least two years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile invoices submitted by vendors with purchase orders and resolve discrepancies with the Procurement Officers and/or directly with vendors.
- Upload and processes invoices into SAP and make the payments using a digital file.
- Support the Finance Manager with daily bank reconciliation process.
- Run the monthly VAT claim, as required, including correspondence with the VAT authorities.
- Processes Travel claims.
- Performs other office duties as required, including analysis and researching
reference files for information requested by Finance Manager.
Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of basic principles of accounting and bookkeeping.
- Computer literacy ERP system (SAP preferred), word and excel proficiency.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Hebrew communication skills.
Education and Experience
- High school graduate
- experience in accounts payable an advantage.
- Any Academic degree - An advantage.
