looking for a Testing Engineer who will join the QA team.
Responsibilities
Test Planning & Execution
Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and acceptance criteria.
Perform manual and automated testing (integration, system, regression) to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
Automation & Tools
Contribute to and maintain existing test automation frameworks, ensuring high coverage and robust test suites.
Research new tools and techniques to improve automation efficiency, CI/CD integration, and test reporting.
Quality Assurance & Collaboration
Work closely with QA leadership, R&D, and Product teams to clarify requirements, triage defects, and ensure coverage alignment with business objectives.
Participate in sprint reviews, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings to share insights, challenges, and best practices.
Defect Tracking & Root Cause Analysis
Identify and document bugs clearly with reproducible steps and supporting data (logs, screenshots).
Collaborate with development teams to investigate root causes, verify fixes, and ensure the highest quality before release.
Performance & Security Testing
Assist in performance testing initiatives (load, stress, endurance) to ensure the platforms scalability.
Support basic security testing scenarios to validate product stability and compliance with best practices.
Continuous Improvement
Advocate for quality standards and drive improvements to QA processes, documentation, and team collaboration.
Stay current with QA trends, emerging testing tools, and industry best practices to propose innovations.
Requirements: 2+ years of experience in
Software Testing/QA or related field.
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile processes.
Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, etc.).
Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Xray).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, or similar) and version control (Git).
Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix environments; ability to review logs and troubleshoot issues.
Good communication skills; ability to convey technical findings clearly across teams.
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in performance testing (LoadRunner, JMeter, or similar).
Exposure to security testing or penetration testing tools.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) or container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent military experience).
