JDC (The Joint), the worlds leading Jewish humanitarian organization, is seeking a team player with excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail to fill the position of Budget Associate for the JDC Global Budget Department.
Perform various technical tasks with an emphasis on precision and deep understanding of the field.
Process, monitor, and manage grants.
Control the accuracy of revenue, expenses, and budget entries.
Conduct comparisons between different sources of information.
Ensure proper use of budget codes and revenue tracking in various systems.
Review and refine data in SAP.
Prepare materials and reports for distribution.
Assist organizational teams with any general requests as needed.
Generate SAP reports and additional documents as required.
Requirements: Degree in relevant fields: Economics, Accounting, Industrial Engineering and Management, Exact Sciences.
At least two years of experience in budget control and monitoring.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Pivot, Vlookup, etc.).
Strong communication and teamwork skills, including the ability to work with a diverse range of people.
High level of organization, attention to detail, accuracy, and self-discipline.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and interfaces and meet deadlines for task completion.
Technical, precise, and independent work capability.
Prior experience with SAP and other systems (e.g., Raiser's edge, Power BI) - an advantage.
Knowledge of the donations processing a strong advantage.
High analytical skills with the ability to initiate, show proactivity, and drive processes forward independently.
Good command of English.
