We're looking for an Network Engineer to join our global team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience at on-prem and cloud IT Infrastructure systems and who has worked in a large enterprise environment. As an Network Engineer, you will manage Tens of firewalls, switches, Vnets, VPCs and more, build multi-vendor environments across our companys clouds and on premise data centers while also having the opportunity to grow and learn new technologies.
Responsibilities:
Manage and optimize networking in on-prem and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP and Equinix).
Design and implement complex network architectures for new projects, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
Configure and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs
Implement and maintain cloud networking solutions, including Vnets, VPCs, VPNs, IPsec, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute and more.
Plan and execute network updates, upgrades, and firmware patches.
Implement and enforce network security policies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project requirements and resolve network-related issues.
Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures.
Perform root cause analysis for network incidents and implement preventive measures
In charge of documentation and reporting by documenting network configurations, changes, and incidents, and to generate reports for analysis and
decision-making.
Requirements: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on designing and managing complex networks.
Proven experience managing on-premise and cloud networking environments AWS, Azure, GCP.
Hands-on experience with firewall appliances, virtual or physical (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.).
Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies (VLANs, SNAT, DNAT, STP, etc.).
Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Experience with managing large-scale projects, including planning, execution and documentation.
Continuous Learning: Staying updated with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in networking.
