We are looking for an experienced, highly skilled handson IT Team Lead to guide our IT operations. In this role, you will lead a small team, manage daytoday IT activities, and ensure that the companys technology environment is reliable, secure, and supports business and R&D needs. You will work closely with managers, users, and DevOps teams to deliver efficient IT services and continuous improvements.
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor the IT team (helpdesk, systems, infrastructure).
Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring high availability and smooth service delivery.
Prioritize and manage incoming requests, incidents, and escalations.
Manage IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, identity management, and enduser computing.
Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems in alignment with SOC 2 Type II and internal security policies.
Implement and enforce IT procedures, standards, and best practices.
Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution.
Collaborate with R&D and DevOps teams to support development environments and related tooling.
Coordinate hardware and software lifecycle activities (procurement, upgrades, deployments).
Drive improvements in internal applications and enduser experience.
Lead IT-related projects such as system upgrades, cloud integration, and infrastructure improvements.
Lead the compliance efforts (SOC 2, ISO, etc.) and support internal and external audits.
Requirements: 8+ years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, and/or supporting engineering teams in global companies.
2-3 years of experience leading IT teams or supervising technical staff.
Strong understanding of computer systems, networking, security, firewalls, virtualization, identity management, Windows, and Linux.
Experience with cloud-based IT solutions (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Exceptional customer service orientation and a hands-on, can-do attitude.
Fluent English (written and spoken).
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent-advantage.
Experience supporting compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO) - advantage.
Ability to balance business needs, operational practicality, and security considerations.
