We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join the Annapurna System team and develop solutions that raise the quality bar for AWS data centers and directly improve customer experience.
This position provides the opportunity to be at the forefront of large-scale data center technologies, working on some of the most difficult problems in the industry, with the industrys finest developers and business leaders, to shape data center operation and impact future products.
What you will do:
As Data Scientist, you will analyze massive data sets of technical and business data, identify aspects/areas to improve, define/implement measurement metrics, build models to predict issues and optimize operational-service, and work with various stakeholders to drive gradual improvements. You will work closely with internal teams to extract/mine information from our existing systems, in order to create new analyses, build analytical products, and drive BIE-related observations/mindset to the technical domains.
You will be the expert for this new domain, defining tools, methodology, and goals.
You will interface and interact with various engineering teams related to the development and operation of hardware, software, infrastructure, and services. You will understand their concerns and pain, and you will lead analysis, driving tools/projects, proposing improvements, and monitoring the results.
As a domain expert you will be independent, self-managed, and biased for delivering results. You will drive the implementation of efficient, systematic, automated, scaling analytical tools through hands-on work and close interactions with the hardware/software domains. You will be working in a fast-pace environment that encourages collaborative and creative problem solving, enables taking calculated risks, and welcomes constructive peer review.
We are looking for an expert with a flair for recognizing trends and patterns, while correlating it to business needs and driving practical actions. If you have an uncanny ability to decipher the exact policy/mechanism/solution to address a challenge and the ability to influence others by using hard data (and some tact), then we are looking for you!
