we are seeking an experienced Marketing and Sales Data Analytics Lead to join our team and to drive data-driven decision-making across our marketing and sales teams. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the analytics strategy, developing insights, and delivering actionable recommendations to optimize customer acquisition and revenue growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Product, and Finance, to guide our go-to-market efforts with impactful data insights. You will also work closely with the BI development team to ensure data models are built to support the analytic needs.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive analytics strategy to support marketing and sales objectives.
Create scalable reporting frameworks to provide ongoing insights
Analyze customer data to identify trends, opportunities, and pain points across the marketing and sales funnel.
Generate insights on campaign effectiveness, customer segmentation, lifecycle stages, pipeline management and ROI.
Provide recommendations to optimize customer journey
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
Partner with Marketing to analyze campaign performance, identify target audiences, and optimize channel and media spend.
Collaborate with Sales to improve sales processes, identify high-value leads, and enhance sales pipeline efficiency.
Oversee the use and integration of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Salesforce, Tableau, PBI etc.) to support data collection and reporting.
Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data accuracy and the availability of essential datasets.
Lead a team of data analysts and provide mentorship, guidance, and growth opportunities.
Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior management, translating complex data insights into actionable business strategies.
Serve as a trusted partner for executive management to ensure business excellence.
This is a hands-on role, requiring direct involvement in data analysis and strategic execution
Requirements: 5+ years of experience in marketing or sales analytics, with a strong understanding of B2B sales cycles.
Proficiency in data analytics tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, PBI and experience with Salesforce.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, customer segmentation, and SaaS metrics.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and work collaboratively across departments.
Experience in working in a SaaS or Product-Led-Growth company- huge advantage
