What You'll Do:

Stay hands-on with development, working with React and TypeScript to build sophisticated user interfaces for interacting with complex data such as 360 videos, images, 2D floor plan maps, 3D models, and extensive data grids.
Collaborate daily with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers, ensuring alignment and efficient delivery of high-quality solutions.
Take active responsibility for hiring, training, and team-building activities to scale and enhance team capabilities.
Represent the frontend team in cross-functional discussions and planning meetings, ensuring technical considerations are effectively communicated.

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented engineer to join our DevOps team, and help us build and scale infrastructure.

This person will actively shape and implement infrastructure, introduce new technologies and standards, and improve our release pipeline by building the right tools and frameworks for our developers.

Our DevOps Engineer will manage our software production, ensuring stability, scalability, and efficiency.



Responsibilities

Manage our DTAP environments including troubleshooting and resolving issues as needed
Continuously improve and evolve our infrastructure and tools to meet the changing needs of our products and teams
CI/CD Ownership: Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable deployment cycles across multiple services and environments.
Plan and implement tools to help our company's efficiency and productivity using data-driven decision making
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including engineering, research, and operations) to identify and prioritize opportunities for process improvements.
Carry tasks end-to-end, from design to deployment, and take full ownership
Security & Compliance: Ensure infrastructure and processes adhere to best practices for security, monitoring, and compliance.
Mentorship & Leadership: Lead by example, mentor team members, and foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Drive observability initiatives by defining and implementing logging, metrics, and tracing strategies to improve incident response and system understanding.

What Youll Do:

Build, maintain, and evolve our core Android application written in Kotlin.
Take ownership of complex features, background workers/services, and large sections of the codebase.
Work closely with product, UX, backend, and hardware teams to deliver a mobile experience that supports real-time field operations.
Implement integrations with on-site hardware and sensors as part of platform ecosystem.
Work hands-on with Firestore and Firebase as core components of our data architecture.
Contribute to backend logic through Firebase Cloud Functions (TypeScript/JS) as part of your role.
Improve performance, reliability, offline support, scalability, and maintainability of the app.
Participate in architectural decisions, code reviews, and cross-team design discussions.
