We are looking for a highly motivated data Analytics team leader to manage and lead a team of three analysts. In this role, you will be responsible for driving data -driven decision-making across the organization by initiating and managing data projects, analyzing key metrics, and presenting actionable insights. You will also mentor, develop, and recruit top analytical talent while ensuring the team effectively leverages SQL, BigQuery, and Looker to deliver high-quality analyses.
A day in the life and how youll make an impact:
* Lead and manage a team of analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
* Initiate and oversee data analytics projects to drive business impact.
* Perform in-depth data analysis to uncover insights and trends that support strategic decision-making.
* Present data -driven insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
* Mentor, train, and develop analysts, ensuring their professional growth.
* Recruit and onboard new analysts to strengthen the team.
* Utilize SQL and BI tools (preferably BigQuery and Looker) to extract, transform, and visualize data.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align analytics with business needs.
Requirements: * 5+ years of experience in data analysis, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
* Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with analytical data warehouses (such as BigQuery and Snowflake) and BI tools (such as Looker and Tableau).
* Bachelors degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
* Experience in hiring, mentoring, and leading an analytics team.
Bonus if you have: Knowledge of scripting languages ( Python, R), or Machine Learning concepts.
* Familiarity with data engineering concepts and cloud-based data platforms.
