Job overview: We are looking for a tech-savvy UX Technical writer who can bridge the gap between complex technical content and user-friendly documentation. The ideal candidate will have experience writing for SaaS products, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and improving content workflows. A deep understanding of SEO is critical to help optimize the knowledge base and technical documentation for better discoverability. Familiarity with WordPress and experience working in Agile environments are also highly beneficial. You Will:
* Create clear, concise, and SEO -optimized UX copy that aligns with our voice and enhances user understanding.
* Develop and maintain an external knowledge base on WordPress, optimized for search engines, to support our trainees and customers. Analyze and gather information to create, update, and improve documentation on policies, procedures, and forms while ensuring it is search-engine friendly.
* Translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand content for both technical and non-technical audiences, using SEO strategies to enhance content discoverability.
* Prepare user-friendly manuals, tutorials, and guides with SEO considerations, such as keyword optimization, to ensure they rank well in search results.
* Regularly maintain and update product-related documents, ensuring SEO optimization is incorporated during content revisions.
* Collaborate with product teams, engineers, graphic designers, and marketing to enhance the clarity, technical accuracy, and visual appeal of content while optimizing it for search engines.
* Lead initiatives to improve writing processes, content quality, and the way we engage with customers through search-optimized documentation.
* Generate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions that improve both User Experience and search engine performance. Optimize content for SEO using techniques such as keyword research, content optimization, and performance tracking to increase search engine rankings and drive organic traffic to knowledge base articles.
Requirements: Requirements:
* You are a polished Technical writer, with samples of your work to share.
* Experience writing UX copy and knowledge base articles for software/SaaS products.
* 2-4 years of experience in writing professional-level content in perfect English
* Familiar with Developer tools and comfortable interacting with developers and architects.
* Tech-savvy and able to understand complex technical concepts.
* Experience creating customer-facing content in English.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a drive for continuous improvement.
* Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
* Ability to quickly process and review information and write in a concise, organized, and coherent manner.
* Experience with SEO best practices, including keyword research, content optimization, and strategies for improving search rankings for technical content.
* Ability to optimize technical content to improve its visibility in search engines and drive traffic to knowledge resources. Bonus Points:
* Familiarity with the IT space and Agile work environments
* Work experience on WordPress
