We are looking for talented physical design implementation engineers to join our excellent Physical Design team, which develops our next generation of products for the cloud market.
Key job responsibilities:
Develop innovative, creative solutions for advanced physical design challenges essential to our chip development.
Build software utilities to streamline and innovate the hardware design process.
Provide solutions that enable innovative flows on cloud infrastructure.
Identify, design, and implement software solutions to alleviate current bottlenecks in ASIC and SoC EDA workflows.
Collaborate closely with the hardware team on projects, prototyping, and deploying tools that enhance our chip hardware development process.
Write effective, maintainable, documented, well-tested code for production use.
Requirements: BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Electrical/Computer/Software engineering (B.Sc)
- 4+ years of experience in programming (preferably Python)
- Familiar with physical design flow - synthesis, place and route, and STA EDA tools from Synopsys (DC/FC/PT) and Cadence (Innovus/Tempus).
- Experience with version control tools (Git, Gerrit, other)
- Self-management skills, good sense of prioritization while handling multiple tasks
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in software engineering concepts: OOP, OOD, data structures, and algorithms
- Experience working on public clouds AWS preferred
- Experience with Dockers
- Experience with Python.
