We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with a strong background in both AWS and Azure to help design, implement, and optimize our cloud infrastructure solutions. This role requires deep technical knowledge in cloud services, automation through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and a hands-on approach to managing complex cloud environments. Experience with AWS CDK and handling network services via Azure ExpressRoute and AWS PrivateLink is highly advantageous.
Responsibilities:
Cloud Architecture Design: Architect and design scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions in AWS and Azure.
Cloud Services Management: Lead the management of key cloud services such as Azure Virtual Machines, AWS EC2, Azure Blob Storage, AWS S3, Azure Virtual Network, AWS VPC, and networking features like Azure Load Balancer and AWS Elastic Load Balancer.
Automation & IaC: Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
AWS CDK Expertise: Utilize AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) to define cloud infrastructure in code, enabling automation and repeatability.
Network Infrastructure: Design and manage hybrid cloud environments using Azure ExpressRoute and AWS PrivateLink for secure, private network connections.
Security & Compliance: Ensure cloud solutions comply with security and governance standards by using tools like Azure AD, AWS IAM, AWS KMS, and Azure Key Vault.
Performance & Cost Optimization: Continuously evaluate cloud services for performance improvements and cost-efficiency.
Requirements: 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure architecture, with deep expertise in AWS and Azure.
Hands-on experience with key cloud services in both platforms, including but not limited to: AWS: EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, RDS, Lambda, PrivateLink. Azure: Virtual Machines, Blob Storage, Virtual Network, ExpressRoute, Azure Active Directory, Azure SQL.
Mandatory experience with IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
Proficiency with AWS CDK (advantageous).
Experience managing private network connections using Azure ExpressRoute and AWS PrivateLink (advantageous).
Strong understanding of hybrid architectures, cloud security and compliance practices.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
