In this role, you will handle day-to-day compliance tasks such as KYC/KYB, beneficiary approvals and regulatory inquiries related to payments and transactions. You will assist customers during the Onboarding process and collaborate with internal teams to ensure full adherence to global regulatory requirements.
This position also includes the ongoing operation of compliance controls, identifying potential risks, addressing discrepancies, and ensuring seamless execution of compliance policies. The role requires flexibility, including rotational Friday shifts (working days: Sun-Thu or Mon-Fri).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Daily Compliance Operations:
Implement and enforce compliance policies and procedures across internal teams and external partners.
Operate internal compliance systems, including beneficiary/payer approvals.
Provide accurate and prompt regulatory responses to compliance-related inquiries.
Monitor day-to-day compliance operations, identifying potential risks and escalating red flags to management.
Support clients during Onboarding, including KYC, KYB questionnaires, annual KYC updates, and due diligence processes.
Collaborate with compliance vendors, including sanction screening and blacklist providers.
Execute and maintain the companys compliance control program.
Conduct ongoing monitoring and identify compliance gaps and report to the Compliance Officer.
Prepare compliance control reports and provide operational recommendations for process improvements.
2. Regulatory Knowledge:
Maintain a deep understanding of international and local regulations affecting payments, such as PSD2, AML, GDPR, and others.
Stay informed about regulatory updates in the jurisdictions where the company operates.
3. Compliance Support:
Support other compliance team members as needed.
Collaborate with regulatory enforcement authorities when required.
Provide regulatory guidance and support to internal teams and stakeholders.

Ability to execute daily compliance tasks efficiently across internal and external stakeholders.
4. Language Proficiency:
Fluent English Must.
Additional languages - strong advantage.
Experience:
Bachelors degree in Law, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
35 years of experience in operational compliance roles within payments, clearing, or international financial institutions.
Proven experience working with payment regulations and compliance frameworks.
